Lately, Karim claimed she and actress pastor Carl Lentz needed a months-long affair, Carl Lentz was fired from the church after admitting he had cheated on his wife.
In an interview with The Sun, she revealed her relationship with Carl Lentz, and said to the publication that she strove to break up with Carl, but he kept on winning her heart again, she said.

Leading this church has been an honor in every sense of the word and it is impossible to articulate how much we have loved and will always love the wonderful folks in this particular church. When you take the calling of being a pastor, you must live in such a manner that it honors the mandate. It honors the church, and that it honors God. When that does not happen, a change needs to be made and has been created in this case to ensure that standard is upheld. Laura and I and our amazing kids have given everything we have to function and build this church and over the years I did not do an adequate job of protecting my own spirit, refilling my own soul and reaching out for the easily available help that's available. When you direct from an empty location, you make choices that have real and painful consequences. I was unfaithful in my union, the most important relationship in my life and held accountable for this. This collapse is on me, and me and that I take full responsibility for my actions. I now begin a journey of rebuilding confidence with my wife, Laura and my kids and taking actual time to work on and heal my life and seek out the help that I need. I am profoundly sorry for breaking the hope of many men and women who we've loved serving and understand that this information can be very difficult and confusing for people to hear and process. I would have liked to say this with my voice, to you, in person because you're owed that. But that chance I won't have. So to those people, I pray you can forgive me and over time that I can live a life where trust is earned again. To our pastors Brian and Bobbie, thank you for permitting us to direct, permitting us to thrive and giving us space to have a voice which you've not ever stifled or tried to silence. Thanks for your grace and kindness especially in this season, as you've done a lot to protect and enjoy us during this. We, the Lentz family, do not understand what this second chapter will look like, however, we will walk into it together quite optimistic and thankful for the grace of God. ."
Who is Ranin Karim?
She was born in Palestine and moved into New York City a decade ago, she began her career working in the fashion industry and today has her own collection named Wahidon.
Previously, she worked as the Personal Stylist at INTERMIX and Sales Associate in Barneys New York.
Besides this, she starred at an Israeli movie called Ajami, which premiered in 2009, where she played the role of a young Christian woman named Hadir, who falls in love with a Muslim man named Omar.
In May 2020, she met Carl at Domino Park in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Karim was searching for a seat to sit down along with her puppy and Carl provided her his spot and because then friendship grew between them.
Afterwards, his friendship turned into a relationship, Carl whined to Karim he worked as a sports agent and even he was not wearing a wedding ring, the duo continued to see each other within the next several months and they'd drink tequila in her home.
In an interview with NYpost, she told how she learned Lentz's true identity as a warrior after she conducted a background check with his phone number.
Moreover, Karim even remembers Carl when her ex-husband attracted her into the Manhattan church and she'd seen him preach, she said. To the same novel, she talked about her relationship with Carl as well as bashed him as a professional narcissist.
