Maggie Nichols was created on September 12, 1997, also out of Little Canada, Minnesota, Usa. She's an American collegiate artistic gymnast at the University of Oklahoma and cried at NCAA gymnastics.
But, her dreams were defeated after getting the first individual to report allegations of sexual abuse against Dr. Larry Nassar and became"Athlete A." Career
From the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, she won a golden medal with the American group and a single bronze medal on floor exercise. Subsequently, Maggie obtained a bronze medal from the all round and on uneven bars and floor exercise in 2014 and the silver medalist from the all round in 2015.
Additionally, she had been the ninth NCAA gymnast to finish a Gym Slam and the very first NCAA gymnast to have attained it double. Maggie Nichols began her running career at age 3, and in the moment, she had dreams of becoming an Olympic gymnast.

I have gone through numerous traumas and challenging times, and I have been through so many great times and I have heard so many amazing life lessons I'd not have managed to learn with no elite livelihood. Words can not even explain what I have been through. Looking back it is such an wonderful experience, and I am so grateful I had been able to experience all that. I can not thank my trainers and my parents for what they've done for me personally and sacrificed for me. Also thank you to all of you for all of the love and support during my elite career, I would not be where I am now with you. I hope I will continue to inspire individuals to reach goals and fantasies. I am eager to continue my trip in the University of Oklahoma beginning in August.
She was a teenager when she met Nassar and if she was 15, he brought her to a training area during domestic training camp in the Karolyi Ranch at Texas. Within an Interview she stated, they had been lonely and Nichols discovered it odd when Nassar shut the door and closed the blinds.
Afterwards, she told her mum that Nassar was touching her inappropriately. Her mum alerted an official in USA Gymnastics and word of their allegations shortly reached Steve Penny, the company's CEO and president, who started an investigation.
Nassar's abuse began decades before at Michigan State University. The college has been ordered to pay $4.5 million in fines this past year from the U.S. Department of Education for"systemic failure" to cover the sexual abuse, NPR reported.
