In 2014he played college football at USC and has been a first-team all-conference selection at the Pac-12. From 2012 to 2016, Max attended USC, but he had been sidelined with a torn knee ligament injury for the majority of this year.
In 2016, he had been drafted by the Chargers in the next round of the NFL Draft from the University of Southern California (USC). He did not play in one game during his rookie season and didn't get off to a hot start in his sophomore season, either.
