Ramya NSK blows off her birthday candles on 6 October each year. She had been born and raised at Chennai.
She's well-known for singing the tune 'Sattru Munbu' in the film'Neethaane En Ponvasantham' (2012) where she won the 3 awards- Filmfare awards 2013, Vijay Awards 2013 and Times Awards 2013 at the class of Best Playback Singer (Female).

Career
She began her career as a music director from the Radio City (FM station in Chennai) that she joined after finishing her diploma and now there she worked to for five decades. She began her playback singing profession in 2006 in the Malayalam tune'As We All Know' in the movie'Notebook'.
In 2018, she entered the home of 'Bigg Boss Tamil two ′ as a contestant.
