In the followup Tweet, she wrote "They shot my phone and the pc I use each day to post the situation numbers in Florida, and school instances for the entire nation. They took evidence of corruption at the state level. They maintained it was about a security breach. This was DeSantis. He sent the gestapo."
Gretl Plessinger who is a spokeswoman for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement told that"FDLE started an investigation November 10, 2020, after receiving a complaint from the Department of Health regarding unauthorized access to a Department of Public Health messaging program which is part of an emergency alarm system, for use for emergencies only... As in all situations, our role is to ascertain the facts of what took place along with a State Attorney determines whether or not charges are filed."

In a statement, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement stated that a warrant was issued because she was suspected of hacking into a Florida Department of Health computer system and sending an incoming message to members of their State Emergency Response Team on November 10, 2020.
Other than this, she served as a climate and hurricanes subject matter expert for the 2014 Louisiana Hazards Mitigation Plan, contributed articles to the 2014 National Climate Assessment, also worked together with Native American tribes in south Louisiana on climate change and hurricane study, adaptation planning, and action.
