Abrar Qazi was born in Srinagar into a Muslim Family. . Thereafterhe got himself enrolled in Islamic University of Science & Technology, Awantipora, Jammu and Kashmir to complete his Master of Arts (M.A.) in Journalism.

Abrar was great at acting out of his youth and he frequently participated in stage contests and events in his college . After finishing his schooling, he wished to make a career in filmmaking and acting. However, he was unable to leave Kashmir because of some family constraints. He, then, started making films on social issues and after finishing his education relocated to Delhi.

Career
Abrar began his career as a backstage supervisor . Throughout his stay in Delhi,'' he also attended some acting workshops. He, subsequently, proceeded to Kashmir to complete his post graduation. Later, he started working as a graphics designer in a private firm in Srinagar. Thereafter, he joined kJ Productions in Srinagar as an editor. After years of battle, he bagged the role of Zaid at the movie "Laila Majnu."
In 2019, he made his television debut with the TV serial"Gathbandhan" in which he played the role of Dombivli gangster Ghaghu.
