After completing her graduation, she started working in the marketing group of American Express. She began her career as a model for various TV and print commercials. While employed as a model to get a jewellery advertisement, she was seen by one of the Tamil film directors who provided her a Tamil movie. In 2011, she made an offer to act in the Tamil movie'Vaanam' in which she played the role of Priya.
She went on to work in various Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada films like"Karodpathi" (2014),"Veta" (2014), along with"Ladies & Gentlemen" (2015).

My maternal grandparents reside here. I have grown up in Raja Park. My nana ji includes a shop in Bapu Bazaar. Each summer, after my final exams, my mother would pack me off to my grandparents' house in Jaipur where we would visit nana ji's store and I would roam around the market, holding his finger, wearing those cute Jaipuri lehengas."
