She had been born on 23 April 1974 at Chandigarh, India however she grew up in many unique areas like Kerala, Pathankot, Pune, along with Allahabad since her dad was at an Indian Air Force. Career
She did her schooling from various schools because of her dad's regular transport, among these is Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, East Hill, Kozhikode, Kerala. In 1991, she made her acting debut with the Malayalam movie Anaswaram, where she played the use of Catherine. Throughout this period, she engaged in several beauty pageant competitions and has been crowned as Miss Bangalore.
Back in 1994, Shweta engaged in the Miss India beauty pageant, where she had been announced as the next runner-up, Aishwarya Rai very first jelqing, also Sushmita Sen won the name. Following that, she got plenty of chances to walk with the famed versions. She directed so many shows together.
She took part in many reality TV shows such as Dancing Queen (2008), Offer Or No Deal (2010, Together with her dad ), also Star Challenge (2015).

Controversies
Back in 2004, a complaint was filed contrary to Shweta alleging she insulted the National flag. She walked the ramp by wrap her at the National flag in a fashion show, coordinated by the National Institute of Fashion Design.
In 2012, Kerala Legislative Assembly Speaker G. Karthikeyan criticised her for permitting her delivery to be listed on camera to the Malayalam movie Kalimannu. Kerala Film Exhibitors' Federation was against this action and stated they would boycott the movie if the movie director Blessy comprises the shipping scene from the movie.
In 2013, she registered a FIR from N. Peethambara Kurup alleging that he'd molested her through the President's Trophy Boat Race. But, Shweta withdrew the criticism after he left the apology .
