Stas Reeflay is 30 years old Russian Youtuber and accused of murdering his Girlfriend Valentina Grigoryeva, he supposedly locked Valentina who was only wearing panties , out on a balcony in sub-zero weather.
Now, he's been detained and according to the report Valentina died of hypothermia at a home in Ivanovka village, near Moscow.
Who is Stas Reeflay?
He made money by receiving online"donations" from his Russian and worldwide audience, Stas owns the YouTube channel named ReeFlay. During her time of departure, she had been in the early stages of pregnancy but died of hypothermia.
Stas Reeflay was paid $1,000 with an audience to inflict the abuse on her during his live stream, he even kept on recording his Girlfriend after she looked"half-dead".
What's more, the video showed he carried his Girlfriend back inside before attempting to save her, in the movie, it could be heard "Valya, are you alive? My bunny, what's up with you? Valya, Valya, damn, you seem like you're dead. Bunny, come on... tell me something. I'm worrying. Damn... I do not believe her heartbeat," and Stats advised the audience"Men... No heartbeat... She is pale. She is not breathing."
But he did not quit recording her and at the live stream, he called an ambulance after sometime paramedics arrived and announced Grigoryeva dead, all these were broadcasted live.
Nonetheless, this isn't the first time he exposed his Girfriend to a life-threatening situation, once he sprayed pepper spray around Grigoryeva's body and even these were broadcasted live.
Since her death, many individuals have advocated the Russian authorities to get an urgent ban on online"Reality Violence." The Russian Investigative Committee stated "Information will also be checked about possible unlawful actions contrary to the dead person by the young man in whose house the body was discovered," and Feminist activist Liza Lazerson slammed the YouTube and stated"The girl dies on-air -- and the audience sends contributions to the killer. This has to stop. These videos are calmly broadcast to the whole world, meaning something is broken. Until this is fixed, censorship is essential."
Now, he's been arrested and if found guilty he could face up to two years behind bars.
