Akshay made his acting debut in 2013 with the Marathi sequential"Be Dune Daha" in which he played the role of Kabir. He played the role of Uday Deshpande from the Colors Marathi serial"Kamala." Kelkar made his film debut in 2014 with the Marathi film"Premasathi." He played a supporting role in the film. He included in the Marathi film"Kanha."
Then, he featured in"Madhuri." His performance in the two films was liked by the audience.
In addition to movies, Kelkar has also featured in many TV advertisements like TVC of Raj Masala and matrimonial site of Zee Marathi.
