Gaurav Alugh was born on 18 January 1990 (age 29 years; as in 2019) at Delhi, India. He did his schooling from St. Columba's School, New Delhi and also St. George's College, Mussoorie. After completing his schooling, Alugh went to the University of Delhi to pursue Economics Honours.
He always aspired to be an artist and has done a professional path in acting from Barry John's Acting Studio at Delhi. He has worked as a celebrity in a few theater productions, short films, and has also done a couple of filming assignments.

Gaurav made his TV debut with the youth fact reveal "MTV Roadies X4." He became a popular face among the audience and was one of the top 3 finalists of all Roadies X4.
