Tina Datta was created as Tanisha Datta on 27 November 1986 (aged 32; as in 2018) at Calcutta (now Kolkata), West Bengal, India. Her loved ones members and friends fondly call her Tinzi. She began acting at the age of five. Though she is busy in both Hindi and Bengali entertainment businesses, she has also received tremendous fame for her performances in the Hindi TV serials. She has also won several awards for her performance in TV serials.

Career
She finished her graduation from the University of Calcutta, Kolkata. She made her acting debut, as a child artist, in 1992 together with the TV serial, Sister Nivedita. As a child, she also appeared in many Bengali movies like Pita Mata Santan (1997), Dus Number Bari (1997), etc.. In 2003, she did her very first Bengali film, Chokher Bali as a celebrity and in 2005, she did her first Bollywood movie, Parineeta as an actress.
In 2009, Tina made her television debut, as an actress, with her portrayal of the role of Ichha Bharti Singh Bundela in Colors' TV show, Uttaran.
