Dipika was created on 6 August 1986 at Pune, Maharashtra, India. She takes a whole lot of interest in acting and dancing since childhood and always dreamed of becoming a celebrity. Her fantasy come true when she made her first part in the TV serial Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi. She acquired enormous fame using all the TV serial Sasural Simar Ka, where she played the lead role of Simar Prem Bharadwaj.She was likely to make her Bollywood debut with the J. P. Dutta's movie Paltan.

She has married to celebrity Shoaib Ibrahim on 22 February 2018. Before that, she had been divorced by a flight attendant Raunak Samson at 2012 to whom she had been married in December 2008.

Career
After finishing studies, she began working with Jet Airways as a Air Hostess for nearly 3 decades, but because of some health problems, she abandoned the job and joined the amusement market. She got her first break as a celebrity in 2010 at the TV serial Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi as Lakshmi that aired on Picture TV.
She left her guest appearances on the dancing reality series Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 7 at 2014 and about the comedy series Comedy Nights with Kapil at 2015. At precisely the exact same year, she took a part in the dancing reality series Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 8. In 2017, she combined with her dancing partner Shoaib Ibrahim engaged in a different dance reality series Nach Baliye Season 8 and has been one of the top 4 finalists.

In 2017, she left her guest appearance on the controversial reality TV series Bigg Boss Season 11. She was also the component of the reality TV series Entertainment Ki Raat (2017-2018).
In 2018, she had been announced the winner of'Bigg Boss 12' and won the prize money of 30 lakh.
