Bhayyuji Maharaj was an eminent spiritual leader who had been well known among his followers since Yuva Rashtra Sant. He was renowned for being a mediator between social activist Anna Hazare along with the Indian authorities during 2001.

Bhayyuji was a prestigious religious leader. He belonged to an agricultural household of Madhya Pradesh. To be able to construct his career, he worked really hard. Controversy
In 2017, a Mumbai-based author Mallika Rajput accused Bhayyuji of cheating on her. According to her, even when she met him for the very first time, he requested her to compose a book in his life. She accepted the deal and after writing his biography, she gave 950 copies of the publication to Bhayyuji. Mallika maintained he did not release her novel and not returned these copies . But, Yuva Rashtra Sant explained it a vague info, and the hope did not provide clearance to the publication.
